Memory Visualizer

Included Visual Layer

Memory Visualizer

Memory Visualizer is the public-safe heatmap/debug layer for EchoPath Memory Layer. It helps developers see how rooms, paths, objects, and behavioral zones accumulate spatial memory over time.

Instead of treating player actions as one-off events, the visualizer shows how repeated behavior becomes a living imprint: reinforced, decayed, and eventually routed into threshold-triggered responses.

What it shows

Spatial intensity

See which zones have accumulated the strongest behavioral imprint across repeated actions like hiding, movement, danger, sound, or safe traversal.

Why it matters

Debug adaptive worlds

Developers can inspect why a room remembers something, why an NPC response triggers, and how memory changes as events decay or reinforce.

Roadmap

From demo to tools

The current public visualizer is an explainer/debug layer. Future versions can expand into preset inspection, heatmap export, and engine-specific plugin views.

Current public path

Use the visualizer as the bridge between demo and product.

The live demo shows memory values changing in real time. The Memory Layer page explains the product ladder. This page explains what the visual layer is and why it matters for developers building adaptive spaces.
